Transmission over Landline, Wireless GSM/CDMA and Internet

The Mini-RX is an analogue terminal adapter with a single FXS (IP) and single FXO (landline) port. The FXO port connects to a standard PSTN (POTS) line and allows you to receive a single call from any alarm panel with a digital communicator and a PSTN or cellular line. This is done by using a software based Virtual Receiver and there is no requirement for a conventional alarm receiver. Signals are forwarded to your automation software via serial or IP.

When the Mini-RX is connected to a network router, the FXS port connects to a line card on your existing analogue receiver and allows you to receive calls over IP in any alarm format/protocol from any alarm panel that is interfaced to a custom IP Alarms provisioned Linksys VoIP adapter.

It will cost you less than US$80 to get started !

Well, that's all you'll pay from most high street or online retailers for a Linksys SPA3000 or SPA3102 device which will give you a single line. If you want a second line, simply purchase a second adapter. We work with Central Stations in many countries and in an effort to make our solutions more attractive, we decided it was essential to keep our Customers costs down to an absolute minimum. We do this by allowing them to source "off the shelf" hardware locally.

IP Alarms work on the principle that if we can provide our Monitoring Center Customers with minimum cost, high quality hardware that allows them to receive alarm signals over landlines, wireless cellular and IP networks using our Virtual Receiver, then we are confident they will return the favor and support our solutions. The easier we make it for you to receive alarms - the better it is for us.

There is no charge for us to provision your Linksys device with our Mini-RX settings. The Virtual Receiver software that allows you to receive signals is billed on a per client per month basis and the amount depends on volume. Please contact us to discuss the solution and pricing further.
